INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Sterling Construction Corporation offers a one-of-a kind intern experience through our BUILD Program which is tailored specifically to everyone who participates in the internship. The purpose of the BUILD program is to provide a positive and educational experience for the intern and will permit a mutually beneficial relationship between the intern and the Company. The BUILD Program gives the intern an opportunity to participate for multiple years with the chance to join Sterling Construction Corporation after their college career.

The BUILD Program stands for:

• Building relationships and business knowledge
• Understanding the construction industry
• Influencing change within Sterling
• Learning more about day to day construction activities
• Developing goals to establish industry experience

One of the goals of the BUILD program is that the intern will be able to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to real life, on the job practices and procedures within the construction industry. Training checklists are developed at the beginning of the internship and are based on the intern’s experience level and years within the program. Throughout the BUILD program the intern will achieve an orientation to the business environment, operations, and procedures. The intern will also be able to enhance their personal and professional goals.
